South Wales Central AM Andrew RT Davies has urged residents to make their views known – as potential routes for a new road linking the A48 and M4 in the Vale were unveiled.
Two potential routes are under consideration – one bypassing the village of Pendoylan to the east – and the other to the west.
The new road would connect the A48 at Sycamore Cross with M4 Junction 34.
Mr Davies said he had received a “considerable amount” of correspondence – and urged residents to get in touch.
Mr Davies said, “There is a clear need to improve transport infrastructure in the Vale of Glamorgan – but it is vital residents’ views are taken into account – and that local communities are not blighted.
“There are two potential routes under consideration – both of which will by-pass Pendoylan.
“I attended the last consultation last Autumn – and further events are taking place this week. If you would like to have your say – please do get in touch and let me know.”
