Davies signs Holocaust Book of Commitment

South Wales Central AM Andrew RT Davies has signed the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment – ahead of Holocaust Memorial Day on Saturday.

Andrew RT Davies, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, has issued a statement on behalf of the Welsh Conservative Group in response to the deeply sad news that Welsh Labour AM, Carl Sargeant, has died.

Mr Davies said: “This is unspeakably sad news.

Weeping Window a "poignant symbol of remembrance"

South Wales Central AM Andrew RT Davies has urged people to take the opportunity to view the Weeping Window sculpture at the National Assembly for Wales.

 

The sculpture – by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper – is made of thousands of ceramic poppies.

Mr Davies made the comments yesterday as he attended a service in at the Welsh Memorial Park in Langemark, near Ypres – to pay his respects.
