At a visit a store in Llanishen – he discussed the feedback he had had with Wendy – from businesses and local people.

Mr Davies said, “It was good to visit Lidl last week – and I’d like to thank Wendy for taking the time to meet.

“It was really beneficial to discuss plans to open a store at Llantwit or Cowbridge – on which I have received a considerable amount of correspondence over the past few months.

“I took the opportunity to raise this with Wendy – and if you have any further comments please do let me know and I’ll pass these on.”
